[vine] VineSeed snapshot
内容の選定や細かい調整はまだまだ必要だけど現状の VineSeed が今後 Vine-4.0 になるという感じになってる。で、ここらで一度 Tech Preview というか 4.0 になりそうな状態のものを公開して使ってもらったほうがいいと思っているのだけど、どうするのがいいだろうか。インストーラが固まらなくてズルズルもなんなので、候補としては、
- Vine 3.2 から VineSeed へ apt でアップグレード
- 前のような暫定のインストーラ付きスナップショット
- VMware 用イメージ
FTP版ではありますがVine Linuxをデスクトップ用途で使わせていただいております。<br>Vine3.2をVineSeedにしています。VineSeedにする上で一番難しいと感じたのは自分の場合liloでした。liloの設定etcが初心者の私にはうまくできませんでした。今は仕方なく他のLinuxのGRUBで立ち上げています。Windows,Vine,その他のLinux(今はCentOS4.3)のトリプルブートで使っていて他の色んなLinuxと比べたりしていますVineが一番いいですね。VineSeedも軽くて安定しています。使えば使う程、比べれば比べる程Vineの良さをしみじみ感じます。Vine4.0が出るのを楽しみにしています。頑張って下さい!
