[Linux] フォント改造
ちょっとしたバグの修正のためにさざなみフォント(Vine向けのSazanamiとM+の合成フォント)に手をいれはじめたらいろいろオカシナ形が気になってしまって、かなりの数の文字を修正してしまった。ちゃんとメモってないので正確には数えてないが、およそ100文字くらい。これだけで右腕が腱鞘炎になりそうな気分だ。
まあ、デスクトップとかvinelinux.orgのトップに出てくる文字で気になったものを直していったのでぱっと見はそこそこきれいに見えるようになった気がする。(かなと英数がM+だからというのもあるけど)
しかし、目がいたくなるし、手首はいたくなるし、直しても直しても終わりがないので、さすがにこれは継続できそうもない。やはり先人達はすごかったこと実感した。まあせっかくなので特に酷いヤツくらいはどうにかすることにしよう。(フォントとかデザインのセンスもないしね)
VineSeed にはすでに入れてあるけれど、もしかしたら試してみたい人がいたりするかもしれないので、、、、 M+1P+Sazanami-20060719.tar.bz2(7/19更新)を置いておきます。ライセンスは土台の各フォントのものに従います。
追記
その後結局全部で2〜300くらいの修正をしましたが、疲れたのでこのへんで打ち止め。あとは使っていてあまりに気になったものと、指摘されたものだけ修正するつもり。
