[font] freetype の embolden で細くなる
ここにかかれているようなVLGothicで0のautoboldがおかしくなる件が確認できなかったのだけど、freetpye を 2.2.1 にして試してみたところたしかに 0 が bold で細くなる現象を確認しました。VLGothicの0だけでなくVLPGothicの%なども細くなってしまっているようで、かなり微妙な状況であることは分かりました。しかし、フォント自体を確認してもアウトラインの向きもおかしくないですし、freetype-2.1.10では問題ないことを考えると freetype-2.2 のバグではないかと思いますが。。。Vine Linux では freetype-2.1.10 を使っているのでコードまでは追っていません。(ftoutln.cあたり？)
[vine] 停電
今日 vinelinux.org の web サーバ設置施設全域の停電があり、ネットワークが届かなくなります。いまのところ予定は 8:00-18:00 ということなので、夕方には復旧するようです。web くらいはどこか停電で切れないところにおいたほうがよいような気もしますが、先立つものが。。(個人で提供するにはさすがに厳しいので、どこか提供してくれるところがあるとウレシイです。。)
[vine] 停電後ネットワーク復旧せず
またネットワークのどこかが気絶しているのか復旧しません。サーバ類は停電中も落ちないで生きているはずなのだけど、最近ネットワーク機器のどれかが停電後に気絶していることがあるようです。そのへんを担当してる業者がおかしいのかどうかは知りませんが。大学ネットワークとサーバをご好意で貸してもらっているので文句は言えませんが、やはりwebくらいは自前で用意したほうがいいかも。
webだけとはいっても今よりも安定しているだけなら安いけれど、同等もしくは準ずる帯域(今は1Gbps)と考えるとものすごいことになりそうです。それなりのページビューはあるので(大学ネットワークを離れるし)広告でも張りつけて賄う? なやましいところですが。。
まあ、資金はどうにかするとしてwebの移転だけでもまじめに検討することにします。toppageすら見えないのはどうかんがえても問題ですし。
