[vine] osaka.vinelinux.org 復旧
大阪へ飛んで問題の確認と復旧作業をおこなってきました。とりあえず現在は復旧してサービスは元通りになっているとおもいます。DNS 的には Web と updates はまだバックアップサーバを見ています。(今後webも含めてもっと分散する方向で検討中です) 結局作業と移動で往復12時間。やはり地理的に近いところに一台同等のサーバがほしいところ。
結局原因は電源ユニットの故障のみで、となりに設置してある同じようなサーバには影響はなし。特に電源が故障するような点検作業はなかったとのことですが、ほかのサーバ類のいくつかにもいろいろな問題が発生していたようでなにか特殊なトラブルがあったのかもしれません。残念ながらそのあたりの内部情報には関与していないのでこれ以上は原因不明という感じです。まあ結構古かったので単純に電源ユニットがへたっていたのかもしれませんが。。
移動時間と移動費用がばかにならないというか、PCの一台くらい買えてしまいそうな感じで。。まあそれよりも精神的疲労が大きいですが。。
ともあれ、いろいろと御迷惑ご心配をおかけしましたが、とりあえずは元通りということで、今後はちゃんとサーバ運営方針をちゃんと考えましょう。> Project Vine のみなさん

お忙しいところお騒がせしました。<br>リモートで電源管理とかできるサーバもありますが、電源ユニットすら物理的にこわれてしまってはいかんともしがたいですね。。。
